National Research Institute

The National Research Institute (NRI) is a statutory body created in 1989 to combine the activities of the Institute of Applied Social and Economic Research (IASER), the Institute of Papua New Guinea Studies (IPNGS) and the Educational Research Unit (ERU). The NRI conducts research, organizes conferences and produces publications on issues of importance to the cultural, social and economic development of PNG.
